Job Purpose:
Executing performance appraisals and succession planning and implementing succession 
programs to evaluate individual performance and maintain performance evaluation and 
calibration of WTCO employees. 

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures 
    and instructions.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the systems, practices, 
    cost optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards 
    within WTCO and related functions such as but not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk 
    and Cybersecurity, etc..).
  • Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely 
    manner.
  • Develop, update, and maintain a competency framework catering to the 
    leadership, behavioral, and technical competencies of the organization.
  • Determining employee performance management cycle and agenda and 
    providing support in the execution of performance appraisals, including 
    answering queries.
  • Development and implementation of the employee performance 
    management framework that will enable employees to drive performance and 
    productivity effectively.
  • Coordinate with HC Frameworks and Programs to align on performance 
    management system and ensure communication of relevant forms and tools 
    to WTCO employees.
  • Ensure Conducting the planning, organization, and execution of WTCO’s 
    performance management awareness workshops.
  • Establish performance management cycle and agenda and ensure the timely 
    roll-out of appraisals.
  • Provide input in setting individual objectives, KPIs, and targets, ensuring 
    alignment with job description criteria and WTCO objectives.
  • Develop & implement succession & career planning framework to identify 
    high-performing employees and prepare them for future jobs.
  • Maintain performance evaluation and calibration of WTCO employees by 
    initiating reviews and appraisals, ensuring fair and transparent assessment, 
    and ensuring alignment with planned individual career progression.
  • Execute the overall succession planning programs across WTCO.
  • Execute the required analysis of employee information to identify potential 
    successors to the identified critical positions.
  • Ensure the preparation of succession development plans for the identified 
    successors in coordination with the relevant functions.
  • Provide input for the development of reports regarding operations, activities 
    and achievements for reporting and decision-making.

 

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or in any related field

Education Requirements

Bachelors in Human Resources or Relevant fields

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
