Job Purpose
Providing comprehensive HC services, including consultative support, acting as a focal point for employee inquiries, and processing relevant requests. Approve leave applications, handle employee terminations, and maintain government services operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures and instructions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Collect new hire employment-related information and maintain records of leaves, working hours, overtime, or lateness for reference and tracking purposes.
- Analyze all documentation related to employee contract activation/ renewal ensuring that requirements of government authorities are met.
- Receive approved list of annual leaves and accordingly develop and communicate the annual leave plan to ensure timely processing of annual vacation-related benefits.
- Monitor flow of documentation to/from HR, archive and ensure valid access authentication and logging for extracted documentation from the filing system.
- Coordinate regularly with government authorities to facilitate governmental services and paperwork (immigration, work visas, residence permits, etc.)
- Submit the necessary document concerning all new foreign staff such as passport, certificates, medical examination, etc. to relevant government authorities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities 2
- Update the disciplinary action schedule and code of conduct and ethics on a continuous basis and communicate for effective implementation.
- Handle escalated employee grievances and complaints and decide on best course of action based on applicable laws and regulations and WTCO internal policies Identify recurrent unjustified cases of lateness / absenteeism / leaves and develop report stating disciplinary course of action to be taken.
- Conduct investigations in cases of employee misconduct (smoking in non-smoking areas, improper dress code, etc.) and enforce appropriate penalties according to set policies and procedures.
- Enroll all WTCO employees in medical insurance and administer enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Implement staff termination procedures including cancellation of work permits and exit permits, updating database, conducting exit interviews, etc. and identify gaps for improvement of exit procedures.
- Provide input for the development of reports regarding operations, activities and achievements for reporting and decision-making.
